Apply the oil to the skin and massage in long strokes. For a more comfortable experience, massage from the heart and outward rather than towards the heart.
Alternate gentle stroking with firmer strokes and higher pressure to ensure that all tension in the muscles is released.
For an enhanced experience; heat the massage oil in warm water before applying it to the body. Pour the oil you want to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl of hot water for five minutes. Hot tap water around 45 degrees Celsius will do just fine. This also releases some essential oils into the air, creating a great atmosphere with your chosen scent.
